| Santa Barbara County is trying to place a Construction Stabilization Agreement on all work. A what? Well, it looks like a PLA, it smells like a PLA, and it walks like a PLA. So why not call it a PLA? Because the name is creating a sour taste among the Public. The Construction Trade Council can dress up discrimination however they want, but we will fight it. Santa Barbara wants to put a PLA on any project over $100,000. Let\'s clear the smoke and let the people of Santa Barbara know about the detriments of PLAs! |
